With heartfelt apologies to Dr Seuss!


Ed D KAtz is one bad dude.
He's got the claws and cattitude!
He loves his treats and his naps,
And his owner-the poor old sap.

His antics are the stuff of lore
But cleaning his messes is quite a chore!
His manic moods, little quirks-
His love of danger are my perks!

Cat ownership? Ed's my man!
All the feline fun I can stand!
Behaving nicely? or being naughty!
Spilling water or going potty

Shredding carpet, spilling food
Lying quietly or goofy mood!
mY best friend is a little cat
This sleeping lump in my lap!

After his storm, the sun has set.
I lovingly stroke my sleeping pet.
To tell the truth, he's really wild
What do you want from my only child?
