    Tragic news about Florida shelter

A fire at the Jacksonville, Florida, Humane Society shelter has apparently killed nearly all of the cats housed there.

Shelter fire kills dozens of cats

May all of those poor kitties and all other shelter animals who were lost rest gently at the RB.

    Tragic news

This story was on our local news yesterday along with news film of the facility on fire. My heart is broken hearing that just about all of the kitties lost their lives because there was no way out. Here's hoping that the investigation will result in safety measures to ensure all animals can get out safely should anything like this happen again anywhere.
RIP at the Rainbow Bridge, little kitties!

That is just so sad...bless the firefighters for doing all they could.
I will pray that they didn't have a painful death and just fell asleep
