    Older mother

With so many moms-to-be on our boards I thought this might make you giggle!

    Older Mother

It was hailed as a medical breakthrough in fertility treatments when a 68-year-old woman was able to give birth.

When she was discharged from the hospital and went home, a crowd of neighbors and relatives came to visit.

"May we see the new baby?" one asked.

"Not yet," said the mother. "I'll make coffee and we can visit for a while first."

Thirty minutes had passed, and another visitor asked, "May we see the new baby now?"

"No, not yet," said the mother.

After another few minutes had elapsed, they asked again, "May we see the baby now?"

"No, not yet," replied the mother.

Growing very impatient, they asked, "Well, when can we see the baby?"

"When he cries!" she told them.

"When he cries?" they demanded. "Why do we have to wait until he cries?"

"Because," she said. "I forgot where I put him, OK?!"

It starts much earlier than the 60s! I wonder sometimes, "did I feed him dinner?"

    Glad to hear that ...

I always fear the worst when I have to ask the FurKids,
    "Did you guys EAT yet?"

    So far, nobody has starved to death;
but I'm pretty sure I've served a double dinner or two!

AHHHH I am worried I will be one of those parents LOL. I am so forgetful as it is.... I guess when they learn to talk it is a blessing and a curse at the same time. Then at least they can say "ma are you gonnna feed me?" LOL but you know what they say... the sooner they learn to talk to sooner they learn to talk back hahaha

R.I.P my dear Sweet Teddy. You will be missed forever. We love you.
