    Tyler's big boy room

Hubby and I have been hard at work this past week to disassemble, paint and reassemble Tyler's new (used) set of bunk beds!! It was solid white with purple accents and purple donut knobs on the drawers. We painted everything that you see in the blue color and changed the knobs out for balls!! There are baseballs, basketballs, footballs, and soccer balls. We won't actually move him into his big boy room until my friend leaves after her visit next week, but we did let him in to have a sneak peak. He went WILD!! HE kept running back and forth shouting "new bed" and "baseballs on window!" Here are some pictures. It looks pretty bare at the moment because we haven't moved in any of his toys or stuffed animals

Lookign at the curtains I made for him in Japan

Being silly crawling towards Mommy across his new bed

He doesn't know that there is a top bunk and we plan on keeping it that way for now The ladder is safely hidden

    Thanks everybody
I know what you guys mean about him looking tiny!! I hope that the transition from his toddler bed which has a crib size mattress to his new bed which has a twin size mattress won't seem too scary!!

Just as a little note, I put latches on each of those little drawers and it was SUCH a pain I was planning on taking them out once he's old enough to know not to climb on then but I may end up leaving them on permanently and just teaching him how to work them

Those bunk beds look like so much fun! When Tyler's brother grows, will they share the bunkbeds?
