    Dashing Degu Daddy!

    I had never known about your species, and am honoured to be the first to congratulate you on being chosen as our extraordinary POTD! Seems like you and your guardian were meant for each other and I'm so happy that you two are finally united. I hope you have a wonderful, celebratory day enjoying your very own Kingdom, cutie-pie!     I have never heard of a degu, but you are a handsome one!
    I love the story your owner told, that was so sweet of the parents to get you as a birthday gift.

    A first on Pet Talk, a Degu...at least a first for me! What an adorable "Daddy" you are, Degu! And wow, what a much beloved furkid to your proud person! She/he hung in there with you during those tough days at the pet shop, never giving up hope that one day you would be hers and how well she was rewarded her devotion! Kudos to your grandparents, hehe...for "giving in" and making you the most beloved birthday "gift" ever; and yes, your love is truly a gift, a gift that never stop giving! Congrats to you adorable Degu Daddy on capturing the coveted title, Pet of the Day! I hope you and your wonderful guardian. and all of your furry friends, are enjoying a very happy, fun filled day!     Degu your story is so cute. And I am so glad that you love people so much and that your mom's parents loved her so much and went and got you for her. I bet that was the best gift they could ever give her, and you should be very proud of yourself
