    Dog electrocuted by walking over a manhole cover!

    This is terrible!

    The first dog was being electrocuted for about 15 minutes before he died. I cannot imagine the pain that his owner is feeling right now.

    Yeah, I saw the story yesterday too. I believe there was a story I
    read last year, a dog died the same way in New York.Such a terrible thing.

    That was horrible to read. I'll have to sidestep manholes from now on. so glad I wasn't a witness.

    It IS sad and from what I heard on the news this morning it was not handled well by the Chicago 911 call center or the park district.
