    Dogpark

My mom was listening to me, once again, complain about not having a proper fenced area for the dogs to run. I do it every morning. Mom finally said today "Lex, why don't you get all the info together. Find a good spot. See what you need to make a dogpark and we'll talk to the mayor about it." The mayor is a good friend of my parents. His office is right across the street from our tattoo shop. The town park just got done building a waterpark area. There are plenty of nice areas out there we could use. My parents even offered to donate. I'm hoping to actually go through with this! I think it would promote responsible dog ownership and make my pups happy campers too!

Any good websites on how to get started? Any good pics of nice looking dogparks would be cool too. Just so I can show the mayor that not all dogparks are stinky and messy.
    Owned by two little pastries!

Freedom posted about Findlay's Dog Park..

One of the things I REALLY like about going there is that all of the dogs have to be registered with the park to join. Also, it is $10 for up to 3 dogs - that must help with the upkeep of the park and maybe something your mayor would be interested in (Money!)

Some features I've seen at parks and enjoy:

    -Swimming areas.
    -Water bowls.
    -Hose off areas.
-Bags to pick up after dogs.
    -Benches for people.
    -Shaded areas are a MUST.
-Sides for small dogs and large dogs
