Stop scratching the furniture!!

Just got the latest issue of Cat Fancy magazine in the mail today.

This idea was submitted by a reader, to stop them scratching where they shouldn't.

Steep catnip in boiling water. When cool, strain into a clean spray bottle. In another spray bottle, mix equal parts white vinegar and water. Periodically mist the vinegar mixture on furniture and other paws-off things. At the same time, mist the catnip tea on the cat tree and scratching posts. Reader claims it took a few days and everyone was happy.
