About 3-4 years ago, I had surgery on something to do with my heart condition. I had no idea what it was..but anyway, after I came home from the hospital, I was in a depression. I can't exactly explain why, but I was. Until the day after I came home. A mother cat had had kittens under our shed! We still have no idea today what happened to the mother, but she never came back for them.
When they became used to us, only took an hour, they were the sweetest little things. Especially the two black and white ones. We were able to hold them and play with them all day. They had names: Squeak, Lily(the most tame one. We REALLY loved her.), La-dee-da, Blackie, and Tigger. Me and my sister, being pretty young wanted to keep them all. But they were only 2 weeks old. My mom was so worried that night, about them falling into the pool. So, we kept them in garage for the night. Then, without me knowing, My mom called the ASPCA to come get them, and he did. We considered adopting Lily after she was old enough.
But Sassy didn't get along with cats, she was afraid, so it was a no. I was upset, because I believe these kittens were guardian angels in my time of need. It may sound a bit corny, but I think they truley were. Their love and kindness brought me out of my depression. I will always be grateful of them, and I really miss them.
