Hi Pet Talkers. If you get a chance we would like to ask for prayers for Ginger's best friend, Sammy. Some of you may remember this handsome guy (pictures attached below). Well, Sammy started acting funny Thursday so his Mom took him to the vet's on Friday. They gave him some medicine for some swelling and bruising (or what looked like blood under his skin). He was no better this morning, so his Mom took him to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. After some tests it has been discovered that Sammy has ingested rat poison. He is spending the night at the hospital, and is getting a blood transfusion. They will call in the morning with more information. I know that there have been some dogs on this site that have recovered from an accidental ingestion of rat poison, I hope that with some good thoughts from my fellow PTers, he will do well also.
