Boomer, soon to be reunited with his family

Remember this handsome fella?

He is the beloved kitty of daughter Missy. PT helped to fly him from Japan to the states so I could foster him until his family could return here to live. They have been in Texas for several weeks now and drove to Ohio yesterday!! Everyone will be here for Christmas. Missy and family are staying across town at Grammy Carol's (persianmom) so Boomer will get to see Missy again very soon

When they all drive back to Texas after the holidays, Boomer will be going back to his furrever family. This Japanese turned midwestern kitty will be a Texan!

I thought you all would like to hear an update. My camera is getting pretty outdated so I hope to have some better pictures from Missy's camera. But, here are a few fairly recent ones to show you how Boomer has been doing...

Boomer is absolutely an "only kitty" and turns into a real lovebug when the siblings are busy elsewhere.

A catnip party will lure him to socialize though...

This bed has become his favorite spot! It is on the desk right next to my computer - this bed will be going to Texas with him...

For now, Boomer is waiting for his Meowmie

I wonder how he will react when he sees her again? Missy is so excited to be seeing him again

Awwww! I have LES knowing he will be going back to his purents again. This whole story is just so heart warming.

Boomer, pack your bags baby, Meowmie is coming to take you home! Have a safe and wonderful trip!

Boomer Boy! It is so great to see you again.

So, you're gonna be a Texas kitty now? That should be quite a difference from Japan. My, you sure do get around, don't you?

I'm sure you'll be finding this out soon, but Tyler is a lot bigger and faster than the last time you saw him. Watch out for a running toddler! Please be patient if he pulls your ears and tail. I am sure you will gently teach him how to pet a kitty.

Oh yeah! You're gonna have a new baby to cuddle with soon. Man, are you in for lots of surprises.
