YAY!!!!!!! I'm so excited!!!
I had an interview this afternoon at 2:00....yes, today!! I've never had a doctor call me on a Saturday night asking if I could come in for an interview on a Sunday afternoon. But, now I work for her and I already ADORE her!!
I'm now working for Dr. Nathan...she's a Family Practice & Surgeon and has been for approx. 40 years. She started as an OB/GYN. Her son is a PhD and is just finishing up his residency and about 1/2 of her 12 nieces and nephews are all MDs or PhDs....in her 27 years in this office, 17 of her past office staff have left to BECOME MDs!!!! *sqwee*
I'm going to be working Front Office, but Dr. Nathan is going to teach me back office as well...and whatever else I want to learn. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo o excited to have someone like her be able to teach me like this. This woman is truly an inspiration, she is EXACTLY the doctor I want to become. She's the most compassionate doctor I've ever met, even makes housecalls to the local convalesent hosp...and not because she's hurting for pts, the waiting list for new pts is SIX MONTHS LONG!!
My and your prayer have been answered, I can feel it 150%. I start tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.I can't wait. Oh, and I get to wear scrubs!!! YIPPEE!!
