Thread: Anyone else?

    Anyone else?

My Buster is neutered and nearly 13 years old, however still relatively active. He's never been on to "hump" anyone or anything, as far as i've ever known. Suddenly, i can't be on the floor with out him harassing me. He'll try and lick me wherever he can and for whatever reason it makes him aroused, usually when he's worked his snout to my belly. It's gotten to the point where i can't do any of my exercises that require me to lay down in the same room if he's not asleep or dozing. Has anyone else had a problem similar to this? Any feedback is appreciated.

You might want to check with your vet and see if he thinks this behavior could be due to a thyroid imbalance.

I don't know what makes me ask this, but have you had a checkup? This reminds me of the dogs who detect cancer or another health issue in their humans.

I think it's the fact that you, the alpha, have compromised your
position with the dog by lowering your body to his level..It's a invitation
to play for the dog and he gets excited. It's better to interact with him
while you are seated on a chair, or standing.
