    Petsmart and fish bowls

Browsing through the ads (After reading cards! ), I noticed a petsmart ad.

So, I came upon these fish bowls. Martini glasses?! Lava lamp shaped? Those are only 1.6L. They've also got one shaped like brandy sniffers, teacups, and, get this, another fish.

It makes me sad to know what the quality of life for these poor fish will be at the price of novelty.

That's retail for you. Other countries have banned fish bowls, but we seem dead set on making the smallest odd shaped things to hold a cup of water and a fish.

    Indeed!

I am willing to guess that the next thing will be longneck bottles!

Just because one store you go into seems bad doesn't mean they all are. I work at Banfield which is located inside our Petsmart and they take very good care of their animals there, as do the groomers. So before you make such an uneducated comment learn about the other stores first. Just because one bird bites doesn't mean they all do.

WOW... is that a broad blanket statement!

I work at a Petsmart and I've never seen anything but compassion for pets. We go out of our way to make pets comfortable and happy.

    Think before you make generalizations.
