    Cats-giving?

I was awakened the other night with a set of Turkey Toes in my face....

    See Furrminology for that one!

    ---------------------

I went to my mom's house and popped the turkey into the oven.

Came home and was giving the royal hand sniff by the Edster....

"Dude I smell raw poultry about you!"

    -------------------

Ed goes to the door and starts to cry...
"I want to go to Grandma's...

He goes to the G-ma's.....then he gets the play, eat and nap thing all backwards..

He starts off on the back of the recliner......then in the bay window and now he is on the chair in the kitchenn..
He's slowly migrating to the area of the oven....
He was blissfully asleep whien I went in to check on the bird....

In about 3 hours he'll get some Turkey and then he'll play all night long.

Who said Thanksgiving was for people only?

LOL!!!! The way you tell a story RICHARD, I can clearly picture Eddie on the recliner, to the window, onto the chair and waiting for the turkey.

Your right though, Thanksgiving isn't just for us humans. Especially those with animals.

Hope you, your Mom and Edster had a nice Thanksgiving.

My mom's cat, Pookie, discovered turkey when he was about six months old - his first Thanksgiving. He ate four bowls of turkey (he kept begging!) and then got maybe three feet out of the kitchen before he just flopped on the floor with a very full stomach. He slept for about three hours right there. Six years have passed since that evening and he's had to have turkey almost every day. He also has a nice nap after a bowl of turkey...

Paul's sister is a vegetarian, so the eldest of her kitties, Sofi the princess, particularly loooooooves Thanksgiving - Grandma brings a turkey! She got many, many tidbits, while the boys, hiding from company upstairs, missed out.
