Pneumonia

Sorry I haven't been around much. Been diagnosed with pneumonia and have been on bed rest. Finally have enough energy to get online and say hello. Zzzzzzzzzzz

Lisa, I'm sorry to hear that you're so sick.

I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia when I was very young and I remember being told to try and stay quiet and get plenty of bed rest. I missed about 1 month of school. Luckily I've never had this since. Please do as the doctors ordered and get plenty of rest. I hope that you feel better soon and recover quickly. Please take care.

Back in 2004, I had double pneumonia and was hospitalized for 13 days. When I came home, I was on oxygen for about a week. It's really a nasty disease, so be sure to take care. If you get to where you are having trouble breathing, get to the ER right away!

Also, once you are better ... get a pneumonia vaccine. They are good for 5 to 7 years!
