    Kids and Crates

Do your kids think that a crate is just as much for them as it is for the dogs? Dedrick does. lol He even laid down and had a nap in it this morning while Sheena was on teh couch. When she is in her crate he always thinks she is either lonely or cold. So if he thinks she is cold he gets his blanket to put on her. If he thinks she is lonely then he will either put his cat in there with her, go in there himself with her or both. She loves it too. here are some pics to prove it.

Dedrick getting the blanket ready to put on the kitty that is now half way in teh crate.

Sheena is still too lonely by Dedricks standards so he puts the kitty all the way in teh crate.

Nope still to lonely. He must now go in himself to cheer her up. lol

Nope still to lonely. Must add kitty.

He ended up falling asleep on her. She woke him up about 20 minutes later by licking his face which he always laughs and scretches about.

    That is so incredibly cute.

My friend has a two year old named Maya. Maya likes to play with my dogs crates too. Maya will take all the dogs toys and put them in the dogs crates and then shut the doors to the crates.

Thanks everyone. Dedrick and his dogs are inseperable. They have been raised and trained to obey the kids as well as they obey us. They both love the kids very much.

Those pictures are adorable! It's great to see dogs that get along so well with children. Dedrick and Sheena look really cute together. I don't have any children but my husky, Nebo, gets so excited to see my nieces and nephews...he loooooooves to lick their faces.

Those are adorable! I don't have kids of my own (as I'm just a teen still), but when I was much younger I also thought the crates were just as good for me as they were the dogs.
