Question

I like to pop back and forth between the different talk groups. When I do so like if I look at "general" then pop into "dog general", does this still show me as being signed in, or only if I am in that topic.
I am sorry, I am new and still learning the ropes here.. lol..

yes you show online wherever topic you are in.........for example i just wrote this and then if a head towards dog general, you can still see that i´m online......adn the go to pet poll and still see me as online........

hope i helped........i too am a jumper, sometimes I want to be split in like millions so i can go multiple topics at one LOL

Well Karen said it was only going to show on which area I was on at the time. So I guess to you guys, I will look there, then not but I am here. My computer stays at the table in the great room ( ie the main room of the house during the day) so I am here - somewhere.. lol.. this forum is addictive and sooooooooooo much to read!

well if you look at your profile or at currently active it show exactly where you are, but the little green dot at your username´s right show us that you are here, somewhere but here, unless you are in invisible mode LOL

ohhhhhhhhhhhh is that what the green dot means??? THANK YOU.. I wondered why I saw green dots.. ( was it my eyes.. lol..) Thank you husky!

wait our green lights are still here and we are on so that means this is where we are? or we left.. I am still here.. ( I am sooooo confused.. lol..)

When you see a green dot, that just means that person is currently online. A grey dot means either that the person is not online, or the person has themselves set to "invisible" mode, and is online anyway.
