    Happy Birthday Muskwa!

    Today is Muskwa's 9th birthday. Muskwa was my introduction to the breed that would take over my life. I'd never met a husky before I met Muskwa! He was 7 months old and part of a package deal with the man who would become my husband. Love him, love his dog! I sometimes wonder why we ever got another husky after Muskwa's puppyhood, which lasted about 4 years!

    He is everything a good husky should be--beautiful, talkative, silly and way too smart for his own good. He is smarter than most people I know! The little wheels in his head are always turning, always looking for a new way to get what he wants!

    Happy Birthday handsome! You may drive me to drink some days, but I can't imagine life without you or how different things would be if you hadn't become part of my world. You changed everything!
