Shiloh.......Remembered

Well, dear Shiloh, one year ago today, it was the beginning of the end for you and us, your dear family. I can still remember you like you were just sitting next to me by the computer or sleeping on my feet in bed. Those last two weeks seem like yesterday....and forever ago. I still can't believe that you left me so quickly. You were my Rock, my strong and healthy one...... I counted on you to be with me for many many more years. One year ago tomorrow came your diagnosis. I will never forget the stab to my heart when I heard the words advanced bladder cancer....nothing we can do. Even then we tried the drug to try to save a few months for you, but it didn't work.

Emily (who is now almost 2) still remembers you. She will stoop down where you used to sit and pretend to pet you (while Thor stands close by wondering what she is doing....). She says Shyoh, not Thor.

I will be thinking of you constantly for the next two weeks and remember you especially on Halloween morning, a year ago since you passed.
I hope you and Killi (and Avalanche and Wolf) are having a grand time at RB. I really miss you and Killi being by my side.
