The view from our place ~ Anchorage, Alaska

I have an idea for a thread where we post a photo of the view from our place each month. Each month, take a photo and edit your thread to add the photo. Then we can see the changing seasons. You could photograph a tree or the flowerbed or the birdbath, anything that's interesting to you. Like this:

    January

    February

    March

    April

    May

    June

    July

    August

    September

    October

    November

    December

Whatcha think? If you're interested, start a thread and play along.

Those pics are beautiful! Unfortunately, down here in Florida, the scene hardly changes I really miss the four seasons.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Yeppers. That's the view from our front window.

Even if you live in Florida or Hawaii and you don't think the view changes much, others might find it interesting. Besides, I could basically use the January photo for February and March and then again in November and December. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Added the October photo. What a difference from beautiful September! We had hurricane force winds from the south that blew away all the leaves and melted the snow on the mountains.

Burrr, It's way to cold to get my digital camera out so I can take a picture of the "snow covered corn field' that is just across the road!!!

Great idea for a thread!!!! I'll see what I can come up with!!!

Lut ~ I think start your own thread. Then it will be easier to understand which photo is being discussed. I'm going to change the title of my thread to reference Anchorage, Alaska

The only problem with that for me is that I don't know if I will still even be living in the same place next year or not... hehe

    Lisa,
You're views are so amazing!! What a wonderful place to live!!

Thanks for sharing those pictures! What a great idea!! My digital camera is in storage, but once I get it out, I'll post some pictures. My parents live in a gorgeous area with lots of mountain views that change seasonally.

    Hugs,
    Kelly
