    16 years ago.......

    Sixteen years ago today, was "gotcha day" for our daughter Indra!!
    She was a tiny 16 month old baby, looking tired and insecure.
    She arrived at our Belgian National Airport very early in the morning (5 am).
    Here she is, still holded by the people who accompanied the group from India to Belgium.


    and here I am holding my new baby daughter!!


    She was VERY much ready for a fresh diaper and some fresh clothes!


    This is the very FIRST pic we ever saw of her


    Home with us!! At first, she didn't allow anybody to cuddle her or look into her eyes. But this was her favorite position!!


    and this is Indra 3 months later, when she got baptized by my uncle


    Oh yes, that September 18th 1990 was a real milestone is our family!! Indra has always been well-disposed, we called her our "sunshine-girl"

    gosh .. that makes me want to cry!

    Now that i have a baby of my own... i realize just how special they are and how they deserve to be loved!

    How wonderful of you to give her such a loving and wonderful home! You are really such a sweet lady and she is so blessed to have you!

    Wow, that is special, indeed!! Her Indian birthday (when she was actually born) is May 15 1989. Is that a special day for you too? It is my brother's birthday!!
