    Simply Phoenix *New pics - Sept.10th * :)

    Well, to say this little calico girl is keeping me on my toes is an understatement! Every day I'm amazed at how much energy a kitten has in there little body.At night she loves to snuggle herself against your neck and then will lick you like crazy.


    I've been trying to get a good picture of her eye colour, but she moves a mile a minute. It's a beautiful amber colour but the lighting upstairs is creating shadows:





    Since I always take close up pics, here's a size comparison with a waist high scratching post:


    Here's Phoenix playing. Some days I wish I was a kitten!





    Look mom, I'm this tall! Not a great picture, but it made me laugh!



    I love my calico girl but hope that Nakita will also break down and become friends with her soon as well. This weekend I'll let them go face to face and see what happens.

    I fall in love with your adorable Phoenix more with each new picture you post. She must be some kind of sweetheart being so affectionate. I'm sure that with time and patience, Nakita will happily accept this strange little newcomer. Maybe Nakita needs to be reassured that her position in your family is secure and she's not being replaced by Phoenix. There's no question that before long Nakita and Phoenix will be the very best of friends. Scritchies and tummy rubs to both of your sweeties!

    Phoenix sure is a cutie pie. I hope that everything goes smoothly with the face to face introductions. Please continue to keep us updated and be sure to take a lot of pictures too.

    What a little cutie Phoenix is!! Isn't kitten energy amazing? I so wish I had that kind of energy these days...even if just once in awhile! *snicker*

    You take absolutely the best photos. I especially love the last one of Phoenix...you know the one that you say is not so good....well I LOVE IT.

    Phoenix is adorable and in time I'm sure Nakita will come around.

    What great pictures of your little Phoenix! She is so cute! Her eyes are very beautiful! And well, her markings are quite unique! (Duh, that's what makes her a calico!)

    That first picture of her playing is so cute.... "I'm gonna getcha! My butt is starting to move".... and she's gone!

    I really love the pictures of Phoenix, keep them coming, I love you pictures of Nakita also. You're camera must be an expensive one to get such wonderful clear shots!

    I just love that last picture! How did you catch her like that? Our camera is so slow I can't get action shots like that

    Kittens are adorable and fun!! Oh how I wish I had a baby again!!

    Just love the black spot right under that cute little chin!
