My goodness Ginny, you are a beautiful, independent girl!!
Your person knew you were special right off and now we all do too. It's funny when I first saw your picture up in the right hand corner of Pet Talk, I thought you might be a skunk or something so i clicked on you and to my amazement I see you, a glorious guinea pig with incredible markings!! Congrats on your Pet Of The Day Status! You've arrived!!!

Ginny is absolutely beautiful, and she looks so sweet. I am a grandmother to about 15 (give or take a couple) guinea pigs. My daughter and her dad raise them and spend half their time either shopping for, playing with, talking to, or cleaning up after cute little piggies.

They also have a bunny and a golden retriever dog, and those two are best friends. The dog has gotten used to being passive while the piggies and bunny are out playing, but the bunny has taken a special interest in the dog so they have become friends. I'll have to see if I can get my daughter to register and show off some of my grandbabies.

Awww, what a beauty you are dear Ginny! Love that "flavorful" coat of yours....dark chocolate, vanilla and butterscotch! You know they do say piggies love to be in pairs but sometimes us independent types just need a little space, and to be the one and only! Spoiled rotten? Of course you are, just as you should be! My girls Moon and Rosie just went back to their houses after being out for some fun floor time on the screened porch! All of us here are hoping that you too are enjoying an extra fun filled, extra special day, celebrating your well earned Pet of the Day honors! Congratulations beautiful girl!
