Today mama and daddy celebrate 23 years of marriage. YIPPEE.
We'd like to describe it in cat years.
8-20-1983 - the wedding
Sept 1983 - their first cat, me BrightEyes.
Jan 1985 - They got Amanda. We became BEST friends.
July 1985 - Thumper came. He didn't like us for a while.
Oct 1985 - BearBear came. He was going to a KILL shelter, and at 5 years old mama knew he would be PTS. We found a home for him but he didn't like it so he came back and stayed with us for MANY more years.
all is calm and quiet for many years.
Sept 1994 - Y.Lee came to us.
Sept 1995 - Mama found Lucas outside of her work and brought him home. He was suppose to find another home, but mama said NO! he stays.
Nov 11, 1996 - Amanda left for the RB.
Nov 22, 1996 - Amber was adopted from the shelter.
May 12, 1996 - Thumper left for the RB.
May 17, 1996 - I (BrightEyes) left for the RB.I was now reunited with my friend Amanda.
May 24, 1997 - on Daddy's birthday we adopted Fern and Rutherford.
Oct 30, 1998 - Jasper came to live with us.
Jan 26, 2000 - BearBear left for the RB to become the original 4 cats up in heaven. He was 20-ish.
Feb 7, 2000 - Monte was adopted.
Oct 1, 2000 - Sterling was adopted.
Mar 10, 2001 - Willow was adopted.
Apr 19, 2002 - Y.Lee left for the RB.
May 2, 2002 - Ashley and Calvin were adopted.
June 15, 2002 - Biddy came to live with us. He was suppose to find a home of his own but again, Mama said NO!
Nov 23, 2002 - Jim and Kim were adopted and named after mama's friend and her dad (who had both recently passed away.)
Aug 7, 2003 - Bonnie, the first foster cat from One by One was adopted for mama's birthday.
Dec 12, 2003 - Mickey failed fostering and became part of the family.
Oct 9, 2005 - Shilo also failed fostering and became family.
June 26, 2006 - Lucas, after his battle with cancer, left for the RB.
July 26, 2006 - Hamlet, who came as a foster, decided to make himself at home.....and stayed.
