    Where's your favorite place to get fried clams??

    Mine is Chick's Drive-In of West Haven. It faces the beach and the clams (I get clam strips) are out of this world!!! The side of clam strips is $12 but it's 2 meals.

    Is there a Chick's Drive-In in Ohio?? Phred ought to try them!

    I buy mine in a can and fry them myself - with garlic and parsley.

    Joe's Crab Shack in Orlando Florida. Not only is the food to die for but the atmosphere is awesome too. (Although I prefer muscles to clams)
    Too bad I am broke & they don't deliver to NY.

    I love clam chowder soup and clam dip but I don't think I'd have them fried.

    Sorry, Donna. I'm no help. The only clams we see in the south are those fried clam strips and I can't stand them! When we were in Massachusetts, I had fried clams and it was the whole thing. That was gross too! This from a person who loves fried oysters!
