    Your Favourite Shoes

I think it would be fun to post pics of our fav shoes (of course I am expecting a high volume of womens shoes as opposed to mens shoes lol I think mens fav shoes are the one pair they own lol)

These pics aren't very good so you can't really see how nice the colour is. It's a light green and then some burnt orange colours.

All I wear are Chuck Taylor High Tops.

I have comic book ones, embroidered ones, bright green, black, and white & black laceless ones. The embroidered ones are my favorite.

Whichever ones hurt the least. Currently my $6 formerly-white sneakers. They are too filthy to photograph, but they don't even hurt a little bit!

(Yes, my feet and I have issues. I have to wear orthotics, so first shoes have to fit both the orthotic AND my foot in them. No sandles, because the orthotics would fall out. Next, the shoes have to not fall off when I walk, and seeing as I have feet that are wiiiiide at the front, and way-narrow at the heel, this is also a problem. I have a very poor sense of balance (only half - literally - of what a normal person has) so that would rule out heels even if anything higher than an inch didn't cause the orthotics to fall forward and hurt like heck. I do not like shopping, for the most part, but hate shoe-shopping most of all. My mother used to say she would glady pay someone to take my sister and I shoe-shopping, so she didn't have to endure it.)

No time to take pics of and upload my favs! I have so many! When I was married, I was not allowed to buy anything for myself....let alone shoes! So when I left, I went crazy, and well, just call me Amelda! When my folks came to visit for the first time in my new bachelorette pad, my Dad came downstairs and said, "Do you realize that you have 42 pairs of shoes?" I just smiled, and asked him if that counted the 5 pair at the front door????? He just shook his head and walked away!

But if I had to choose, my favs would be the pair that I am wearing now.... Mootsies Tootsies sandala with multi-colored band across the top of the foot. They give me height also, added bonus! They go with so many outfits!

I have narrow heels so I walk right out of most shoes, but I have several pairs of Clarke's clog-styles that solve that problem - open in the back! My favorite ones are years and years old, part of the front is suede-felt. They're falling apart now.

Ductape! My "neice", Karen, uses ductape on her favorite shoes all the time. Sure it's not that pretty, but all you do is walk in the anyway, right?
