My friend Michele and I hiked up Mt. Timpanogos last Thursday, spent the night (wouldn't call it sleeping, we froze) and came back on Friday. I took close to 400 photosI tried to narrow it down but did a pretty bad job of it....there's still a ton, I apologize. In case you are wondering, Cisco is my friend's dog, he is an aussie/border collie mix.
I couldn't find a good pic of Timpanogos from a distance on my computer but here's some on a website (scroll down halfway) http://utahpictures.com/Various1.php I think its about 5-6 miles one way to where we went (Emerald Lake, which is actually on the other side of the mountain that you see in those pics). We were going to go to the "saddle" (where you can sit on the actual top of the mountain) but Cisco hurt his paws on the way up and was limping, we didn't think he should have to go any farther than necessary...I think that was another mile or so. We were pretty dead from carrying the heavy backpacks anyway. I've been to the saddle and the metal hut or whatever it is the last time I went, the view from the saddle is amazing!

Seriously though, those have to be some of the greatest and most beautiful pictures I have ever seen. I would never be able to pick the one I like best because they are all so beautiful. Do you live in that area? If you do, your so lucky to see that scenery every day. I would love to live there.
