What is on your bed when it is so hot?

I am a bit bored, yup

With this heatwave, it is almost to hot to fall asleep. The easiest thing would be to sleep on the bed, without covers; but I simply cannot stand that.... . No matter the trmperature, I always want "something" on me, like a thin cotton sheet.
    How about you??

I have a top sheet to put over me if the air conditioning gets too cool, but I usually don't start with it over me as it is too warm. Because the cats want to come and go as they please, I cannot shut the bedroom door. So the windo air conditoning unit doesn't make the room COLD....just cool.

I have a mink blanket that I use. I do boil under it, but I HAVE to have a blanket, I cannot sleep without and real blanket, I cant sleep with just a sheet or light blanket no matter how hot it is.

There is a bottom sheet, top sheet, and comforter as my husband absolutely must sleep with something on him, too. I just don't cover up.

I cab't sleep without a blanket of some sort, I have no idea why, I just can't. I have a fleece sort of blanket (I think its fleece anyway, but I'm not sure as it looks different than most fleece things) that I use when its really hot. I just suffer through the heat.

I must have something over me, it's usually a thin summer duvet, but if it's really hot, then I just use a duvet cover. Sometimes I even have to "put up with" Fister cuddling up to me.

I chose "other" because there is always at least one dog and one or two cats. We share the nest with a sheet and a light flannel cover to begin with, then - who knows? By morning it's anyones guess It's funny but sometimes if I waken in the middle of the night I find myself having to schooch up the top of the bed so I don't disturb the critters lying on either side of me

Just a sheet for me too. We set the a/c at a much higher temperature at night than during the day to save money. If it is REALLY hot the dogs don't even want to sleep next to me!

Bill Cosby once mentioned the need to sleep with a sheet in one of his comedy routines. He said with him it dates back to his childhood and the childhood fear of monsters. He felt that if he was under a sheet it provided protection. I always remembered this because I sort of felt the same way when I was little. My sheet was good protection from things that go bump in the night.

I'm the same. I like a cotton sheet at least over some of me as protection against any axe-murders that happen to be loose in my house.

Just a light blanket/quilt and Frisk. He gives off plenty of warmth, but our house always stays cool during the summer.

I have my quilt, and I usually use it because its cold in my room.

I like it cold with a lot of blankets. With the air conditioning on and the ceiling fan going I always sleep under the sheet, quilt, a down throw, and a microfiber throw. It's actually not the warmth of the blankets that I like, it's the weight of them.

If the power is out in the summer and it's really hot I still sleep under a sheet. I have to have something over me.
