    Yukon River pics...

Last Monday, a few friends and I went for a paddle on the Yukon River. They had a canoe and I was in my kayak. The stretch of river we did is a nice day trip--from downtown Whitehorse to the Takhini River Bridge.

It was a perfect day for paddling!

Going with the current is always fun! So much easier!!

You can't see him very well, but there is a red fox on the top of the clay cliff. He was hysterical...digging like a maniac up there, probably hunting gophers!

One of the nice things about paddling with other people for a change was I could get some pictures that included more than the tip of my boat!

Approaching the bridge where we pulled out of the water. We had left my truck there earlier in the day for the trip home.

You certainly have some magnificent scenery up there.
