I'm joining the betta bandwagon ;) (now with names!)

I don't have fancy bettas like some of you all do, maybe one day! But, for now, I bought two from Wal Mart. I hate that place, but, I can't seem to stop shopping there for certain things. Blech. Anyway, I got one picture of each fish, and, will take better ones once I get newer aquariums. For now, they are in very basic environments. Nothing great, and, I know they do better in other tanks, but, anything's better than the cups they're in to begin with. No names, yet, as they've only been home for a few hours.

I do have a little soft spot for Bettas and I hate seeing them in little cups that are never changed or cleaned, I am glad you saved him from that horrible place!

The second one looks like he might have had some fin damage done. With a bit of aquarium salt and regular water changes, he'll have a full pretty tail in no time!

I bought a betta from petco, we named him Fishstick. He lived 2 years!! He just passed away this past Feb. He was the funniest little fish. Your bettas are beautiful and I hope they have a very long life.

Thanks everyone, for checking out my newest family members! I will let you know how they are doing from time to time. I'm not good at all with fish pictures, I must have taken thirty before I got anything good. But, I will keep practicing! I do like the way that first one turned out, though, so, hopefully, I can get a great one like that of the blue and red one. hahaha, I'll be naming them soon, too. David suggested Hanz and Franz.
