    troubleshooting tricks??

I've been trying to get charlie to crawl. But he keeps scratching my hands when they are infront of him trying to get the treat..

AND how do you get him to stay standing? He keeps laying down

For the crawling one, everytime he picks up his paws to scratch move your hand a little farther away (but not so far that he gets up) and saw crawl at the same time.

For the standing "trick" what I did with Maggie was, have them stand, and put your arm under them (behind their belly, closer to their legs) but don't let them feel it. Tell them to stand, and stay. If they start to sit/ lay down, say no and at the same time put pressure underneath them to force them to stand.

These may not be the best tips, but this is what I did with my girls. Hope it helps!

    also...
    COOKIE ON NOSE
    Agility use: none
    How:
Hold dogs muzzle and give "stay" or "leave it" command. Place a cookie on top of nose and continue to say "stay" or "eave it". Let go of muzzle. Dog must hold the cookie until you give a release command - "take it". Then she must catch the cookie in her mouth. This is a fun way to give treats and looks cute.

Whenever I put my hand around his mouth he squirms soo bad. I don't think I will be able to do this one

    and then..

    SNEEZE

    Agility use: none
    How:
The object is to make your dog sneeze on command. The signal will be the handler cupping her hands around her nose and mouth and saying "sneeze". With the handler seated in a chair, have your dog in a sit/stay in front of you. Cup your hands around her muzzle, say sneeze and blow gently into her nostrils. Continue until she either snuffles, sneezes or makes any such motion. Reward "good sneeze" and treat. Repeat. This may take a long time depending on the dog. Some will sneeze immediately, and others will take a lot of work to respond.

I can't do this either. His mouth is open 99 percent of the time. And I can't get the right angle to make him sneeze. some tricks are soo hard.

For "cookie on nose" you should first work on getting him to sit-stay while you do different things (walk around him, pick up front feet, look in mouth/eyes/ears) then work on holding his muzzle WITHOUT trying the trick. Pet him, talk to him, do different things to make him comfortable while you hold his head/muzzle. Then start working on the trick.

Not so sure about what to do with the "sneeze". After making him comfortable with you holding his muzzle still, hold his mouth closed when trying to do this. If he doesn't especially like you holding his head still, I'm not so sure on how he is going to react to you hold his head AND blowing in his face. Everytime I blow in Autumn's face/ nose, she gives me a kiss.
