It depends soley on the dog. You can't always depend 100% on the dog's breed to predict how well it will fit in a family. Training and the up-bringing plays a huge role in this.
My Simba is a German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix and he LOVES children. In fact, he does a lot better with meeting new children rather than meeting new adults.

I agree with kay, Dogs are wonderful, depending on how they are trained and raised. All dogs should get some basic obedience training so they will be good with children. Welcome to pet talk!

Depends on how willing you are to train this dog, Is it a pup or an adult?
There are alot of mix breeding i questions a pit/rotti mix a friend of mine had the father was a mean vicious dog and Bailey is a sweetie couldnt ask for a nicer dog!!!!!
