    mmmmm- Hoofies!

We were out of town for a few days, so I got my furkids a special treat- double-toed hoofies! They LIKED them!

They kept an eye on each other...

    Chomping and chewing and crunching....

Till Star got a glazed-over look in her eye...

and Sherman finally stopped for a nap...zzzzzzzzzzz

OMG I got my dogs those once.....i dubbed them "stinkyfeet" because the ones I had stunk so bad I almost died. I have heard that they don't all stink that bad but I said no way to trying those again, not to metion it gave my boy a chin burn because of his undershot jaw hehe.

Thanks Jess for the great sig of my kids!

Okay... I buy my dogs almost every treat imaginable... I don't think I could bring myself to watch them chew on those! Something about being able to tell WHAT it was creeps me out. Just like those piggy noses they sell for dogs.

Glad Sherman & Star enjoyed them, though! Were they inside?? I was under the impression that they were outside dogs? (Maybe I'm mistaken with someone else. I may not be old but I sure am losing my memory LOL!!)

Aww, it sure does look like they are enjoying them. I they look blissfully happy, maybe you should have given them to them before you left, it would have kept them busy the whole time you were gone.

Sandra sent a goodie box to my two awhile back that had two of those in it. Mine went absolutely NUTS over them. Lasted them a good long while too LOL. They are kinda freaky looking but the pups enjoyed them SO much I can see myself getting them again sometime as a special treat .

You can really tell how big they are in your pics better though.

Oh no! I had to shoo Katie and Tori away. Didn't want them to see what Star and Sherman had. I know my girls would love to have one for themselves and be extremely jealous of your two beautiful sibes. Lucky pups! Can't wait to see them and you

They look like they were totally enjoying themselves!!

Kayleigh currently has a bison hoof that has been keeping her occupied for weeks! It was a gift to her from a hunter. Freaks me out a little every time I see it, but Kayleigh is loving it!

Hee Hee - they're quite the gourmet treat! Yes, they are cow feet. I've given them hooves to chew for years. These did kind of gross me out at first. But they absolutely LOVE them, and it does keep them busy for a LONG time. Kay- your memory is not fading, Star and Sherman do live outside. But I bring them inside while I'm working on the computer. I gave them the hoofies inside because I wanted to keep an eye on them. At Christmas, they each got one and, and they got a little snippy with each other - kept trying to steal the other's hoofie. I didn't want to take a chance on them fighting over them again. That's why no-hoofies while we were gone.

Vela - "stinkyfeet" is right! I had to open the window, it got pretty bad!

K-9 soul, your two look like they're loving them, too!

We got these at the pet store, I've seen them at the farmer's mill & feed store, too. Best part, they're pretty cheap- less than $3 ea.
