    Taxes....

    With April 15th I sure hope everyone has their act together!

    So is everyone getting a refund? I will be the proud recipient of a $281 check.

    We had ours' done and sent off in January I got a measly $190 (state + fed) but HJ got $1500 back woohoo

    Actually if you want to get techincal they're going to extend tax season to midnight on the 17th. In light of the Easter I guess.

    I thought it was because 4/15 falls on a Saturday this year.

    I did ours and sent them out like 2 weeks ago. We're getting a nice chunk back, thank goodness because we want to do some work around the house. I put on there for the direct deposit but who knows when that will hit the bank!

    Direct deposit works well, or at least it did for me. I think you get your money faster that way. I must admit I stopped by my bank to make sure I'd put the numbers in correctly.

    No such thing as a refund when you're self-employed. Any extra money from last year always goes to the first estimated payment for this year.
