    Internet Security

    I am thinking of changing my Internet Security.Right now,i have Freedom Internet Security and I don't think it is doing a good job as my computer freezes up the odd time.What is the best Security software out there?

    I use Norton anit-virus and internet security. Don't know if it is the best or not, but it is easy to use and I never have had a virus or worm. You probably are going to have to deal with whatever is going on with your computer right now. Actually, I shouldn't even be answering this question as I am not very computer savy, but at least I can speak to the *easy to use* part.

    Zone Alarm is a good (free) personal firewall program.

    I use Norton Internet Security - it's easy to set up and protects my system well, although it IS quirky. Tech support is good.

    My computer tech buddy recommends Trend's PC-cillin. I've been using it for a couple years and it's been great. Never interfers with programs or makes my computer freeze up and I haven't had a virus since we switched to it.

  6. I have Norton too... and it sucks. it blocks programs that you know are safe,,
    and that you want to use. very annoying.
