my family and i went to Nashville,TN on a small weekend vacation. origonaly i was going to stay hme because im VERY picky about how my animals are cared for and i was going to stay home to care for them. 2 days before we left my dad convinced me that grandmaw and grandpa could care for the animals for 3 days while we were gone. i was hesitant, but i agreed. i left a LNG list of details on how everything had to be done....parinoid mummy.
all was going well. i called multiple times a day to see how everyone was doing. i woke up this morning to a call from my granmaw. she seemed upset. she asked to take to my mom. after mom was done talking to her she told me to sit down...then she told me the news. grandpaw had taken Gracie out to potty this morning and didn't lock her crate. after he left the house she got out and got the chicks.
i'm soooo upset! i knew i should have just stayed home! i just hate knowing that my chicks were dieing while i was out having fun. i feel like such a bad mummy.
Rest in peace Rowdy, SweetPea, Mellow Fellow, and Bucko. i'm really sorry.
