Hi, I just wanted to let you know that tomorrow,March 22nd, is Starr's 1st birthday.He was found by a policeman and brought to a shelter but he was too young so he was fostered by one of their volunteers and bottle fed. I can't believe that he's now already a year old. I weighed him tonight and he now weighs only 8lbs. and this was also after he ate part of his dinner. Pearl is only 10 months and she weighs 8.8lbs. and has always been a little beefier than Starr. I wonder if he'll continue to grow.
This is the first picture that I saw of Starr. A friend of mine was going to adopt him but then decided not to.
He was 5 weeks old when I first saw him in person.
He was a little over 3 months old when I first brought him home and had coccidia but he then got ringworm so I took him back to his foster mom for treatment since she had several other kittens with ringworm.
Finally in late August, I was able to bring him home for good.
Here is he today.
HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY HANDSOME STARR!!! You've been through so much in your short life and I hope that you'll now remain happy and healthy for many many more years to come. I love you widdle boy.
