    soft poop

My Kloe has had soft poop since we adopted her. She was VERY sick when we 1st got her-not really sure what caused it. Vomiting and diarrhea she was dewormed with EVERYTHING on flagyl and Albon ect. Bloodwork and xrays showed nothing wrong-she eventually started gaining weight and now is PURRRRfect! However she still has muchy poop-like a very soft soft serve ice cream. She was on Science Diet kitten food, we have since changed to Eukanuba kitten food yet still soft poop. The vet thinks it is dietary that is why we changed the food. I heard that Nutro for indoor kittens produces a drier stool. Any advice would be great!

Do you feed her dry food or canned?

Dry food only. Also I just noticed that our boy kitten Kade has a little blood in his stool and it is softer too but just on the outside-when I picked it up the inside seems firm. We go to the vet on Thurs. Another thing yesterday I noticed one of the kittens threw up a little on a pillow of course so it soaked in with a smudge of brown but I noticed the yellowish sesame seeds around the pillow too. I understand that it could be tape worms but I don't see how they could have gotten it. They are inside only on Program because Kloe had ringworm when we got her and Kloe was treated for EVERYthing under the sun worm and parasite wise. We got the kittens January 5th so it is wierd that this is the 1st time I saw the seedy things. I also have not seen them again so go figure

If they look like sesame seeds then yes that is a sign of worms. Cats and dogs can get worms from any number of sources. The main one being fleas. And yes, even indoor animals can get fleas

Though I might add that I have never seen soft poop a direct result to an animal having worms, though. Whenever my cats had worms their poops were always normal.
