What does your pet do that really ticks you off?

My dogs "bark" at everyone that comes over to the house. We can barely have guests over because, they get so annoyed with the dogs barking at them. I have tried using a clicker to stop the dogs from barking but, that doesn't seem to work (an employee at Petsmart recommended this procedure). I have also been advised to get them professional training so, this will be my next step. I sure hope it works......

    Nothing.

Your dog is probably just trying to alert and protect you. My dogs do that, and it doesn't tick me off at all.

    They are just great dogs.

The only thing I can think of that really ticks me off is when Huney digs (not just scratches) at the door to get in

Roxy's digging drives me nuts. Dusty doesn't do anything wrong but shed. It's be nice if he'd quit shedding. Sarah, she can be a brat, but it's all puppy stuff that is expected.

Huey sometimes digs in my flowerbeds but I've gotten used to it and he does it less often. I've actually managed to replant everything he dug up and they're all doing fine.

Also there was this one incident where we left him home and came back to find an entire set of intricately carved wooden elephants in shreds. I collect elephants and I had just moved them to a lower shelf earlier that day. Well I learned pretty quick that that shelf should just stay empty.

I wouldn't say I was ticked off though, just disappointed. I love Huey a thousand times more than any material possession.

When they greet me at the door, wagging tails and wiggle bodies -- with that happy smile of theirs, and the happy whines just wanting me to sit down on the floor and hug them. And how they even nudge the door open while i'm trying to unlock and open it!

    Justtttt kiddin!

Mickey doesn't do anything that REALLY ticks me off except when he gets in his moods where he'll scratch at the door to be let out and then stand at the door to be let in. I don't get what he wants, lol.

And Sky is mainly how she likes to bother Rocket. She gets into her moods.

Well, my rats destroy anything they can get their little paws on, which becomes quite frustrating at times, especially when it's my matress and bedsheets. BUT, it's my fault, I had the cage too close to my bed, they are just doing what rodents do. Eh, I don't care anymore.

HOWEVER...I did become LIVID, I mean LIVID, at Sammy when I came home one day from school to discover he used my Sandicast yellow lab statue as a chew toy ($75 Christmas gift). OMG, I have never become so livid at one of my pets. I couldn't even look at him. I get mad everytime I look at it, seeing it's nose half gone. PLEASE SAM! ANYTHING BUT MY LABBIE STUFF! Oh, and when he knocked down all of my model horses 4 feet to the ground- I thought they were all going to break.

But, you can never stay mad for long....

Nothin much bless them, but as they are indoor/outdoor, sometimes I get a little ticked off when Ash justs comes inside and wants out straight away, he has a habit of doing this quite often, still gives me some exercise, but when you are all nice and cosy on the couch watching your fav TV programme, its then I wish he could open and shut doors for himself lol.

My bubby (in other words dog) Domino will bark at absolutly nothing.. We have the door open he'll just bark and nothing will be there. If you don't pet him he will scratch your arm and bark and other things until you do (ok thats cute but really annoying at times) Oats (quaker parrot) he sits there and screams... and screams... and screams. You tell him to shutup he gets louder, you yell at him and he says "Good Boy!" its like no not good boy.

When Josie jumps up on the back door until you let her in No it doesn't tick me off. But can get quite annoying at times. Oh,I forgot to add also when she picks on the cats and tries to sit on them.

Tito lays on my face, licks my ear and kneads my hair when he is hungry or wants attention. It most often happens between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 AM. I don't wake up until 7:30 AM. I don't know how long it will take for him to adjust his schedule - I never have actually gotten up to feed him or paid much attention to him when he does it so I don't know where he got this from. I just say "No" and put his little butt on the floor!!

Not really MY pet ticking me off...

MY ex roommie had a dang cat that would pee on ANYTHING left on the floor if it was made of fabric...clothes, jackets, hats socks ANYTHING! Urgh. The cat was box trained too. And sometimes, if you had a shirt up on a dresser or hanging on a hanger low enough to get knocked over, she would purposely knock the thing over and pee on it! I had no room with a door so I couldn't keep the cat out....I STILL have to wash cat pee off of some of my stuff! Not to hijack the thread but what causes this? Someone PM me or something cause Im curious....
