I PM'd you. Please don't give up and put him down. I pray that God will open a way for your baby Pepper to heal and get well from his illness.

Tracey, don't give up on hope. I know it's hard right now but things can change really fast. I will keep praying for you and Pepper. Don't give up.

Please don't give up !!! There is always fear in the unknown and trying to decide what is best.

Have you considered seeing another vet or hospital? I am so sorry that you and Pepper are so exhausted. Try to talk maybe to another vet and see if there is another alternative you haven't explored.

I know it's not much, but I'm sending you every warm healing vibe I can.

    For everyone

I want you to see my thoughts on this subject. I PM'd this to KAK. Don't be too hard on her, this is a tough time.

    Tracey,
I am in tears but I want to be honest. I would have made this decision already, if it had been me. I love my cats to death, and I have agonized over this type of decision before, and I say, let him go if you can. I often think that when they can't or won't eat it is their way of saying, "mom, I give up. It is too hard for me". You do not have any reason to feel guilty, you have done everything. More than everything! Give him the greatest big hug, tell him you love him and you don't want him to suffer. Peace be with you. I know this is hard.

    Tracey, you know Pepper better than anyone and will know when it's time to make that sort of decision. But for your own conscience please wait for all the test results and make this decision after a good night's sleep (if you can) so you have a clear head. Pepper hates this too, but he's trying as hard as he can for you. Hang in there. {{hugs}}

    Dear Pepper,

Could you please try some more for your Mommy? She loves you so.

I know it's hard, but please find the strength to fight a bit more.

You are in my prayers, big boy.

I just want to let you all know that Pepper is at Rainbow Bridge. I made the decision to have him put to sleep this morning. I started a thread about it in cat general. Thank you all for your prayers, concerns, and support.

OMG! I'm soo sorry, Tracey. I had just posted a reply at the same time you posted about Pepper being at RB. I am in shock because I didn't see the progression of this thread over the weekend, but I want to tell you how sorry I am that you had to make such a difficult decision. Part of the reply that I originally posted was that whatever decision you made, we all knew it would be what was best for Pepper.

Do not feel guilty, but know that you did your best for him. He had a happy, loving, caring home and that's the best thing you could have done for him.

I can't imagine what you are going through right now. Please accept my condolences.

Sweet Pepper, I hope you feel much better now at RB. Your mommy misses you dearly already. Rest in peace sweet boy.

    Oh no!

I'm so very sorry Tracey. I can't imagine your pain, but hopefully knowing that you gave him the greatest love anyone ever could can repair your heart. You are a wonderful, wonderful person for all you did for that sweet boy.

Like everyone has said so far, he is in the best place possible. While he was here, he was but a lovely seed...now at Rainbow Bridge, he has blossomed into his full glory. Filled with happiness, forgetting what pain was.

God bless you, Sunny and Storm. I hope that with time, your pain is gone.
