Debbie I'm sorry I'm just now seeing this. I do hope that everything is going to be a-ok with Peanut when she's done with the surgery.
I'll be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers as I know this will be a long weekend for you.

Just got a call from the vet. He had to take about 1/2 her bladder, but he thinks he got it all. What he took out is going to the pathologist and then we'll know if he got it all - he didn't seem to want to discuss what would be the next step if he didn't get it all, so I figure we'll deal with that if/when necessary.

For now he said she is awake and looking around. I'm sure they have her on good pain meds but she's probably bewildered - poor little girl.

But all in all things are as good as can be expected at this point. They are taking good care of her and he will be in touch with any new news. I will also be calling in on a regular basis to check up on her.

I will have internet access for part of the trip - wherever my Verizon card works, so I will keep you all updated.

Thank you all so much for the prayers and positive thoughts but it wouldn't hurt to keep them coming for now.

And thanks Phred, you covered just about everything there.

We're filling up with water now and then we're off, so I'll check in later.
