    LOL! Go Popcorn!

If I could vote, I'd be voting for Kerry. My mom and dad *are* voting for Kerry, as well as most of my family.

I asked my mom earlier who she was voting for, and she said "I'm not telling people who I vote for.." I said "Come on, Mom. I'm your own kid and you won't even tell me?" She didn't answer.

My dad and sister are both voting for Bush....

I jusr re-registered so they'd have my correct address on file. Last year I never got anything telling where to go. So, I'm ready to fill out my absentee ballot when it gets here.

    So far, I'm thinking Bush.

Too bad there wasn't a poll made on this!
It would usually go towards libertarian in this household but since we REALLY want Bush out of office.....we will have to lean towards Kerry (although I don't care for the fact of him being wishy-washy).
Not that I think any of them STICK TO THEIR WORDS anyways. But my husband always told me: "YOU CAN'T COMPLAIN IF YOU DON'T VOTE!" ...........
Can I just simply ask why vote for Bush?
I'm definitely not trying to start a fight or anything like that. I really don't keep up with the news or even know much about either candidate, except for what others have told me! All I've really heard about Bush is that he's more for the RICH & doesn't care about us middle-class people.
As far as RIGHTS go.....it does seem that many, many of them are being taken away & that REALLY scares me in the years to come! I'm only 29 & often wonder what is going to happen to this country?! I also think about having children & bringing them up in this world. I really want to have a child but things are so scary & probably will never STOP being scary will they? No perfect world here. I've also heard things about a draft? No way would I want my husband to be FORCED into going & for what reasons?!
I'm just simply stating my opinions & thank god....for now, we still have the right to those!!!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Tina, I'm not the childbearing kind so my opinion probably isn't worth anything but every generation of kids had a set of challenges it had to face. Last century's faced the Great Depression, two World Wars, the Vietnam War, and many other pressures. I reckon if you want kids, go and do it - you'll cope, they'll cope!

We have an election this weekend and I can't wait

I'm not trying to stir up any trouble, I just want to say that in my opinion many of our civil liberties and rights depend on Kerry being elected. If you really want to talk about it, PM me and I'll start a thread in the Dog house, but I really just wanted to toss my opinion out there...

    Thank you Wolf_Q!
