Nebo *was* going to have the Nature's Variety venison raw tonight, but once again, he turned his nose up at it. Apparently I now have 12 lbs of raw food for Sydney as she's the only one who will eat it!

So he'll be getting Natural Balance/Nature's variety venison formulas mixed (dry) as usual. So much for that....but he's happy and healthy...just strange I guess, I told him most dogs would kill for that dinner but it didn't change his mind.

Sarah, you said you feed them shrimp - how do you feed them? Shell and all or shelled? Any specific type of shrimp?

Tonights dinner was pretty much the same for everyone. They had beef mince, various mushed vegies, Livamol/ Flaxseed & Glucosamine supplements & a pig kidney each. Tinny had more vegies than everyone else, and was weighed last week and she has lost a tiny 20 grams .... better than nothing i guess.

I was a bad bad bad mommy over the weekend, my crew all had Evo for their meals, or at least most of their meals. Nanook did get a few chicken feet, a trachea & a pigs foot but he did have one meal of kibble & all the other dogs ate kibble for every meal.
You see we are remodeling my kitchen (majorly lol) and there was no room to thaw anything, heck it was even hard to get in the freezer (or even my fridge & freezer for that matter) at most times and find a place to feed the dogs at. Things are getting back in order now though so they will be getting raw again starting tonight.

I am thankful I saved some of their kibble though. I knew I'd be needing it in case someone had to watch the pups for me, if the electric went out, or some other "emergancy" came up.
I don't have any more kibble left and I really hate feeding it but I think I will be picking up another small bag in case something like this happens in the future, especially since winter is on it's way. I hope I don't have to feed it but you never know.

The dogs went back to raw last night & boy were they excited. Because things are still a little hectic they just had chicken & liver but boy, they way they ate you'd think it was something a lot better than that. lol

They were shelled. It was left in the freezer too long so my parents let me have it for the dogs. Otherwise I doubt they'd be getting shrimp because it's so expensive!
