Keep up the good work Crystal.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Hang in there Crystal. One day at a time. I just know you can make it. Your family knows the situation and will adjust to the mood swings. Just remember how proud we are of you and how proud you are going to be with yourself by accomplishing one of the hardest things to do in the world. You can beat this!!!

Something else I want to add here. If, one day, you do succumb to the urge, don't beat yourself up. That does not make you a failure. All you have to do is get yourself back on track and continue on. Easier said than done, I know, but again, you've got all these Pet Talk people and prayers behind. Success will prevail.

Hang in there, Crystal! We know you can do it! Just fight the urge, and like Slick said, just take it one day at a time. I've been thinking of you often, and I KNOW that with all of us rootin' for you over here, and the love and help of your family, you can beat this!

    Thanks guys!

But no matter what I am not slipping up I don't care how bad the urge gets and my husband son will make sure of that..

Gosh, the power of PT truly is.....I feel so blessed to have this place in my life with such wonderful people to go with it.....

You know that we are behind you 110% and will help you through the rough times.
It's going on 4 days now. Just think, 4 more days added on to your life. Good for you.
It's not easy and it will get tough the next few days. But you have to fight the urge. Just remember your son struggling to breath.
I'm proud at how you are handling this.

YOU CAN AND WILL BEAT THIS!!!!

You know since I haven't been smoking I really do realize how people really do smell when they smoke. I was walking in Wal-Mart the other day and this lady walked by me and I thought man she smells just like a cig. I never knew that it was that obvious and how bad it really did smell
