Gabbly for Pet Talkers to chat

As I was away from PT for a good few weeks recently, it seems like ages since I've been on gabbly. Now that school's out and I have free nights again to stay up and chat () I've been trying to get back on. However, it doesn't seem to be working, it says '0 gabbers' and if I type something, then refresh, it disappears. I've had this problem before but never for more than two or three days.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Your not supposed to refresh the page, you only press Enter when you get done typing your message. Then its SUPPOSED to show up. Hope that fixes your problem.

Yes, I know. I've been using gabbly ever since it first began on PT, so I know how it works. I meant I type the messages, press enter, then refresh, and it's not there.

It's some sort of java problem, I think. Perhaps Alison could help me out here?

Try --

1. Close all IE windows
2. Click Start - Settings - Control Panel. Double click on "Internet Options"
(now doing this will reset any passwords and forms you have on autocomplete, like your login to PT etc.)
3. on "Browsing History" click "Clear All" -- this should clear your cookies and other stored internet information. If you have an earlier version of IE, you may have to delete cookies and delete data manually. Regardless, if you get the Cookies and the Temporary Internet Files, then that might work.
4. Try restarting IE. I've had that problem before in the past as well, sometimes that fixes it.
