Hello all. Major is doing ok right now. I know you will all be shocked to hear he has not gone to a vet yet, but please don't judge on this situation.
I'm hoping that my mom will be able to take him to the vet tomorrow. I would like to take off school and come with her, but chances are she will not allow that.
He is a bit more active than before but he's still not eating much. Please keep praying for him, and please pray that my mom will take him in tomorrow.

Does anyone know a telephone number I can call at this time? (8:40 pm). The vets around here aren't open this late and there aren't any 24 hour vet things.

Where are you? I know the emergency vet near us, but that's not probably going to help you! Have you tried Google?

I'm sorry to hear that Major is still not eating right. I hope
and pray that he's not still feeling the effects of the poison he
ate. Major is such a beautiful little guy & I hate to think he's
not doing better. Please update whenever you can. Prayers being
    said for that cute pup.

    Update:

Last night my dad couldn't sleep so at 3 he came into the kitchen and let Major inside. My mom was there too and they were there for about an hour, and then my dad went to his friend's house to see if there was a vet there (he thought maybe - they had hunters there) but no luck. My dad couldn't eat breakfast either - he felt extremely guilty because he had left the poison on the bench at the farm.

I woke up around 6:30 and then Major was still inside, and he didn't move once until I picked him up at 7:30 to carry him into the truck. We drove to the vet and got there when it opened, around 8. He got a bit excited when we drove up, and he was quite a bit more excited when we got inside. That was

good) - nice to see him DOING something and acting a bit more normal,

    but also

bad) - the vets saw him being a bit energetic, not how he was before - maybe making them not quite as concerned

Anyway. So we weighed him and he weighed 50.2 pounds, whereas when we took him in on the 15th he weighed 54.8.

So then they examined him and his anal glands were full, which she emptied.

Then they said that he was really dehydrated, and his stomach was empty, he also has two (forming) hot spots on either side of his rectum.

Then my mom dropped me off at school, and when I got home, I was not surprised to NOT see him in the yard. I was sure they'd kept him there.

But when I asked my mom how he was at lunch (when she checked on him), she said he was in his doghouse.

He hasn't gotten out of his dog house since around 1, and its 8. He's just sitting in there, he can't lie down well because he has an elizabethian collar on. He won't come out.

We have to give him Vitamin K twice a day for two weeks, and we have some ointment stuff to put on his forming hot spots.

He's still not eating, not drinking a lot. The vet was GOING to put him IV fluids I guess, but then he drank SOME water (a cup or two) and so she "felt satisfied" and my mom and I are still concerned. We are trying to get him to drink but he's not really...I offered him some water with soup base in it and he just had a little.

He didn't even come out of his house when Hucky (neighbor dog) came over. Its very depressing seeing him SITTING in there with the collar on, because he's so miserable and he can't sleep I guess. Any ideas on how to coax him out? He won't come for food or toys, not even another dog.

This doesn't sound good at all. Is there any way he can stay inside with you? He really needs to be monitored and I think the vet kind of screwed up on not putting him on IVs. I really hope he gets through this. He can't go on not eating and hardly drinking. I think it would help him to want to get well if he wasn't out by himself in the doghouse. I'll be praying for him. I hope he gets well very soon.
