OMG!!!! He's a carbon copy for a baby I rescued years back (who was smaller)! He was used in a "tug of war" in a household of unsupervised brats, and ended up wearing a cast that was almost as big as his body! Please fail fostering..please fail fostering..please fail fostering YOU MUST NAME HIM OPIE AFTER MY SPONGE THIEF!!! Who got adopted.

You guys are cracking me up!!! No Debbie this was not a setup! I swear! It never occurred to me that you might want to take him home with you when you come visit.

I have to say that I fell in love with the name Opie!!! Too funny! Of course Debbie if he were to go home with you he could have any poetic name you choose!

I got more details on the little guys story today. His owners, and I use the term very loosly, went on vacation and left the baby outside with some food and water! Surprise, surprise, he got hit by a car. Neighbors brought him to the shelter. At first his whole backend was paralyzed and they prepared to euthanize but decided to wait one day to see if any feeling was recovered. The next morning he was walking! Of course the one back leg was badly broken.

His back legs are really skinny and he's kind of knock kneed. I don't know if he will have any lasting effects or not. It sure doesn't seem to slow him down!

Boy! Is this little guy loaded with attitude!!!



Meg I see a HUGE resemblance to Tobias! It's amazing! It's like I can tell exactly what ??? face is going to look like in a few months! You want me to mail him to you??
