I was told the little puddle hoppers are the worse to fly in. I would like to fly in a Learjet everywhere but one needs to be weathy to afford that kind of luxury. LOL

Are small planes worse than big ones to fly in?

my mom always tells me that I am more likley to be in a car crash then a plane crash, all that did was make me afraid of flying AND driving lol I am terrified of flying though, even though I have flown a million times, the more I fly the more frightend I get....so much for facing your fears huh? lol

I've never liked flying.. I used to always get sick on the planes so I never looked forward to it. I hate sitting still for that long without being able to lay down (if I feel sick) so unless it's a short flight, I get antsy, claustrophobic, etc.

However, after the last flight I took, I REALLY don't like flying. I'd never heard this from anyone before, but DO NOT FLY WITH A MIGRAINE. I had to do a back to back flight a few months ago and it was horrible. I was bawling before we even left the ground because I could already feel the cabin pressure, I was sick the entire flight.. between flights I begged my parents (I've never begged so hard for anything in my life) to not make me get on that second plane. My doctor had to prescribe me perkaset, and even that wasn't enough to knock it back down onto a scale of 1-10. It was def. on my list of worst pain experiences I've ever had.

To be honest I now have a fear of flying, having flown to the United States and Australia when I was in my twenties, and having no fear or problems at all, I have only flown once since , on a flight within NZ, it was the worst twenty minutes of my life, and I was scared stiff the whole time, trying to put on a brave face for my then young son on his first flight, who seemed fine with it all., it was a smaller plane a friendship they were called in those days, but still a domestic flight, not a tiny plane by any means, but it was rocky and I hated it.

I don't think you are too old for the China program. China is one of those countries where at least one of the parents has to travel, though. Korea and Guatemala allow the babies to be escorted back to the US.

    Michelle,

I love it too!! It gets me where I want to go and FAST! I figured if the plane is going to crash, I'm 30,000 feet in the air, there's not much I can do much about it anyway.

As far as the puddle jumpers are concerned, I HATE flying in those.

My biggest gripe about flying is sitting near young, screaming children!! Or someone who insists on talking to you! My best friend thought up a good solution to that. Bring your CD player and put the earphones on. Doesn't matter whether it's playing or not. At least it makes the "talkative" person THINK you're listening to music!

Rest In Peace Casey (Bubba Dude) Your paw print will remain on my heart forever. 12/02
Mollie Rose, you were there for me through good times and in bad, from the beginning.Your passing will leave a hole in my heart. We will be together "One Fine Day". 1994-2009
MooShoo, you left me too soon.I wasn't ready.Know that you were my soulmate and have left me broken hearted.I loved you like no other. 1999 - 2010See you again "ONE FINE DAY"
Maya Linn, my heart is broken. The day your beautiful blue eyes went blind was the worst day of my life.I only wish I could've done something.I'll miss your "premium" purr and our little "conversations". 1997-2013 See you again "ONE FINE DAY"

I have mixed feelings, but I voted "love it". The thing I really hate is the "take off"!! The plane is driving really hard on the runway then, and the engines make a terrible noise.... . But once I am "in the air", it is fine ! BUT..... I also hate the landing!! One time, the "bump" was really bad, the plane bumped up and down at least 5 times : I almost died with fear!!

Oh I forgot to tell: my hubby always has 2 blue spots on his arm afterwards: that is were I "hold" him during the scary take-off....
I miss you enormously Sydney, Maya, Inka & Zazou Be happy there at the Rainbow Bridge

They are MUCH more turbulant and bumpy. I've riden in a 4 seater (a neighbor I had when I was a kid was a pilot and owned his own little puddle jumper) and it was the bumpiest thing I've ever been in. It was extremely bumpy. Then every year or two we flew from Detroit, MI to LA, California but our final destination is in Santa Barbara, so we take this small commuter plane from LA airport to Santa Barbara airport...for me it is terrifying, but I hate turbulence. Non-stop turbulence in those little planes.

I like to fly once I'm in the plane. What I hate is all the hassle beforehand ... the crowds at the airport, the security checks, the lost luggage, the waiting, waiting, waiting.
