I live in upstate NY. I can't really say I love it but I can't say I hate it either.
The scenery is to die for. The winter sucks. My family is here. People are rude.

I've lived &/or visited every state besides hawaii & north dakota & out of all the places I really love Oregon, Oklahoma & Arkansas. Someday I hope to live in Eugene Oregon again!
Soar high & free my sweet fur angels. I love you Nanook & Raustyk... forever & ever.

I like the county where I live. It's more rural with lots of farms and rolling hills, but it's getting waaaay more developed and crowded. I don't like the surrounding areas as much though some of them aren't too bad. I mostly don't like other Marylanders away from where I live. (WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IS A GENERALIZATION BUT DOES NOT APPLY TO EVERYONE AS THERE ARE ALWAYS EXCEPTIONS!) A lot of people around Baltimore are low-class and trashy. And a lot of people around DC are snotty.

I mostly like Maryland because it's like America in miniature. We have a coastline, flat ground, a bay, rolling hills, plateaus, and mountains - all within 3 hours.

    I love and hate Nevada....

I love the fact that I am so close to Lake Tahoe and the rest of California. I love the wilds of Northern CA (camping is one of my favorite things to do). I also like the party scene in Reno/California. There are a lot of outdoor camping parties and the people are all so nice! The culture really blows me away. I love how Nevada itself has a lot of open space to explore. Getting away from the city is very easy.

I hate a lot of the big city types here though, Especially in Reno. There are quite a few rude people and they are always in a hurry. There aren't really any nightclubs in Reno (The only ones are Rap clubs) and don't even dream of having any type of club/party in Carson City. The old folks will shut it down with a quickness. If you aren't over 21, Carson City is NOT the place to be. Reno isn't all that much better.

If you don't have a car, being stuck in Carson is a real pain and is boring as all get out. Nevada is one of those places where you have to make up your own fun as there isn't a lot of things to do outside of drink and gamble.

I've been to Greensburg a lot. I've attended the Norwin auction there many times. Could you tell me what street your grandparents live on? I probably know the street.

    I do hate it here

    My reasons I hate it:

    1) No dog park
    2) There are more casinos than anything here
    3) The people are rude
    4) The weather sucks (except for the summer--we have LONG winters)
    5) There really isn't anything to do.
    6) All of our stores suck (well except Wal-Mart )
    7) It's not easy to make friends here.
    8) It's hard to find a job(It's like finding a needle in a haystack or a four-leaf clover )

I never knew I could be so negative about my town

    Edit:

I found reasons why I love it!!!!

    1) horse back riding
    2) the country side
    3) some of the resturaunts are good
    4) the population (thank God we are not a huge town )
    5) Swimming (well about 20 mins away there is a place called Fairmont Hot Springs resort and it has a baby hot tub and a large pool inside. Outside is a huge hot tub and pool and they have a waterslide!) It is relaxing just thinking about it!

Now I can be positive about my town, too!

I dont like my neighborhood very much. These are the reasons:

1- The streets are all broken and dirty
2- Its unsafe (too much thieves, and that things)
3-There are not cinemas or shopping centres close.
4- There's not a park or some place to let Anita run without her leash
5- there's a polluted river near my neighborhood (I dont know if its true, but I heard that its the most contaminated river in the world) I dont live near it, thought
6- It isnt in Buenos Aires city, you have to cross the polluted river to get there (and the bridge always breaks! )
7- I dont like my neighbors
8- too wet and hot weather

These are the reasons why I like it and I wouldnt move now:

1- All my friends live here
2- My house is in the best place of the neighborhood
3- We live near the shops, school, and that things
4- It would be hard to move now. Perhaps I'd like to move to the capital when I finish school
5- I dont apreciatte the place where I live, but perhaps other places are much worse!!

I have lived in the same county my whole life except the first 6 weeks of my life and here is my "Location" from TFF:
"Location: not where I would have picked.... oh well. "
It is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooo humid. The people are complete idiots as well as inconsiderate and they hate all dogs. They are very shocked to see me riding my bike on main roads (on the sidewalk of course) They seem to be saying, "Oh, you poor poor girl, where is your mom to drive you everywhere you please?" ugh, no good fish stores, everything is overpriced, the library seems to never be open, the people are complete idiots and it is tooooooooooooooooo humid.

I live in Southern California and I LOVE it. I've been to many places and so far, California is the only place in the US I'd like to live. I'm sure I'm partial, as its the only place I've lived.

    Why I like it:
*Very diverse population - I can learn a ton about different cultures
    *Weather is amazing
*We have the mountains, beaches, rivers/lakes, desert, snow, agriculture - everything!
    *Trendy (where I live)
*Major cities are nearby...which is just close enough
*With major cities brings large hospitals, schools, preforming arts, movies, etc.

    ...RIP, our sweet Gini...

Well, I have lived in the same place my whole life. I live in Minnesota, and it stinks!! I like our farm, it is fairly big, and really "homee" but the weather stinks -40 degree winters The summers are really nice though, not to hot (most of the time) and never too cold. I do not like the fact that my school is 20 miles away. My best friend live 20 miles EAST of my school, and I live 20 miles WEST of my school, so that means if I want to go vist my best friend it takes about 45 min. to get there!!
